30+ years of service
I’ve been a customer of Thorpe H/AC for over 30 years. THAC has installed 7 AC units in my homes and office building in Lakeland over those years. Numerous service calls have been completed on time with efficiency.
I just want to brag on Chris Chambers. He came by last week after Jerry (service tech) responded to our need for service to our home AC (THANKS JERRY!) Jerry informed me that our 12 year old Thorpe HVAC system was dying.
After Chris explained my options and we settled on the replacement system, he told me to call him if our temporary fix failed before the fellows were able to complete the replacement. Unfortunately, four days later it began to warm up in the house. I took Chris at his word and sent him a text about 8pm last night asking if he could send someone by. He immediately responded that he would. To my pleasant surprise someone was at my front gate before 8am this morning. To my greater surprise it was Chris! Within 15 minutes he had the system cooling again to get us to Friday, the replacement date.
THANK YOU CHRIS, for continuing the Thorpe tradition of service and ministry to us faithful customers (Jerry has also provided us with great service multiple times at our homes and office building over the years.)

Complete trust in Thorpe Heating & Cooling
We place our complete trust in Thorpe AC. We have been Thorpe customers for well over 10 years and in two different homes. The relationship we have with people at Thorpe is not merely a company/client relationship. They are more like trusted advisers. Thorpe pulled us out of a terrible situation. We had weekend, emergency AC issues a couple of summers ago, and a friend recommended another AC company. We reluctantly went with the other company. The other company incorrectly installed a new air conditioner, resulting in the flooding of several rooms in the house multiple times. After not getting anywhere with the other company, we called Thorpe and had them reinstall it. It has worked perfectly ever since. It’s not just a job for Thorpe; it is a relationship with members of the community. They only sell what they have fully vetted and would use in their own homes. We’ll never use anyone else.
Thorpe has treated me right for many, many years
I generally obtain bids from other companies before making a major purchase. Due to the confidence level I have in Thorpe, I feel it is not necessary to go through that exercise. Thorpe has treated me right for many, many years. I trust you will treat me honestly and fairly in the purchase, installation and service of my new unit.
Deep knowledge of their craft
I need to let you know that the three service personnel who installed a new complete AC unit in our daughter’s new residence were courteous, professional and deeply knowledgeable of their craft. Putting the unit into the attic was more than anticipated, but they stuck with it until it was completed. Your maintenance team has been doing our own house and business office going on two years. I cannot say enough about those personnel. And kudos for the staff handling the service and installation departments. They are friendly and courteous also. Thank you to the Thorpe Heating & Cooling Family! After two nights without air conditioning and a negative experience with a different air conditioning company, I know now how it feels to be part of the Thorpe family, and what it means to have great customer service. Joy answered my call in a friendly helpful way, connecting me with Michael in Operations. Michael was very professional, and he was able to get us on the schedule and reassured me that he would take care of our air conditioning problem. As promised, Jack and another Michael arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. Jack explained and showed me where the problem was and how it could be fixed. Thorpe gave us a wonderful experience and even called later the same day to make sure we were happy with our service. Thank you again to everyone at Thorpe for making us feel like we are an important part of the Thorpe family.
